Four men lache for homosexual offences in Nigeria. In Africa specialy West Africa homosexuality is unacceptable. It is illegal under Islamic and secular law and So people who don't conform to that get arrested, and punichement.
Africa is a conservative country and Muslim and Christian are opposed to the homosexuality. In addition, there is no open mind like in the United States or Europe. African culture is against this they cannot imagine that man and man or woman and woman can be married. There is no authority who is going to celebrate this marriage. Also there is no law ,no rigth for homosexual.Sometimes, people can get killed or be send to jail for being gay.
Last week World Bank refuse to send money for aid to Uganda because the president voted a law against homosexuality. In Uganda if someone is gay he has to hide if he wants to survive or be free.If not, if they found out the person is send directly to jail for life. But I don't agree with the word bank decision because this has nothing to do wiht money.Economic relationship between the two countries doesn't mean the powerful has to dominate the less powerful. So every country has his own laws and no one has to judge it.
Finaly everyone should be free to choose to be homosexual or not,and every country is free to make its laws because all countries have differents cultures. Something acceptable in one culture doesn't mean universal.
